Wheel to wheel racing with staggered start and corrected time. Each team will run a qualifying lap to determine start order – start order will be fastest qualifying time first and descending from there.
At the start line, Eugene will line everyone up. He will then drop the flag for the first car to start, proceed to the next car, give a thumbs up for all good and drop the flag for the next car. Eugene will proceed through the line in this manner until everyone has left the start line. Once you are set in the start line, you do NOT move until Eugene gives you the green flag.
Each driver must complete a specific number of laps designated for their class. Finish order will be determined by the time it takes to complete total laps. In the event, you don’t complete all laps of the race, the total number of laps you have completed at the time of curfew will determine your finish order.
Stock will race to 5 laps with a 1 hour curfew. If competitors have not finished their 5 laps within the curfew, their last completed lap will be their final lap count to determine finishing position.
Modified and Unlimited will race together. Your start order will be determined by your qualifying times as a whole group. Your finish position will be determined by class.
Modified and Unlimited will race to 10 laps with a 1hr 45 min curfew. If competitors have not finished their 10 laps within the curfew, their last completed lap will be their final lap count to determine finishing position.

*If you are not ready to parade to start area, you will be moved to the back of the start grid.
*Entry fee and waiver forms must be in prior to Parade Lap & Pre-Running. Once waivers are confirmed you may proceed to do your Parade Lap & Pre-Running.
*Parade laps will be a quick drive around the course as a group so drivers can familiarize themselves with the route. It is in your best interest to participate in the parade lap as this years course is different from than last season. We will go straight into pre-running/open laps right from the parade lap.
PARADE LAP & PRE-RUNNING
We will do a parade lap at about half speed. Drivers/co-drivers must be in full race gear for pre-running.
Pre-running must be done at a cruising speed – no more than 3/4 race speed.
NO aggressive passing. Use your horn when coming up on someone and allow them to pull over for a safe pass. Slower traffic should keep right to allow for safe passing.
All road crossing should be treated as a stop sign with right of way given to civilian/non-race traffic. Absolutely NO passing on roadways. DRIVERS must cross road in non aggressive manner and may accelerate 5 meters after crossing.
Vehicles will be flagged off course at 10:15 am and are asked to line up for qualifying parade lap. No vehicles will be allowed to enter the course after this time for pre-running.
The course is approximately 5km long and includes a variety of terrain with high speed sections, tight forest sections, jumps, rocks and 2 main road crossings an 2 secondary roads.

RULES THAT APPLY AT MAIN ROAD CROSSINGS DURING RACING
***THESE RULES ARE IN PLACE TO MAINTAIN THE QUALITY OF THE DITCHES ON EITHER SIDE OF THE CROSSINGS, AS WELL AS THE ROAD ITSELF. THERE ARE FIBRE OPTIC CABLES BURIED IN THE DITCHES THAT WILL COST $10,000 TO REPAIR IN THE EVENT THEY ARE DAMAGED.***
Racers will have the right of way at the all road crossing during racing.
WHEN CROSSING THE ROAD – YOU MUST SLOW DOWN 5 METERS BEFORE THE CROSSING, DRIVE OVER THE ROAD IN A CONTROLLED MANER AND YOU MAY BEGIN ACCELERATING WHEN YOU ARE 5 METERS PAST THE ROAD – THERE WILL BE MARKERS IN PLACE TO DESIGNATE SLOWER ZONES, TAKE NOTE ON THE PARADE LAP.
YOU MAY THROTTLE OVER THE ROAD BUT NO TIRE SPINNING IN THE “SLOW ZONE” BETWEEN THE MARKERS.
THERE ARE NO CONDITIONS AT SECONDARY ROAD CROSSING DURING THE RACE. REFER TO MAP FOR MAIN ROAD VS SECONDARY ROADS.
There will be NO passing at the road crossings.
FOLLOW THE RULES OR YOU WILL BE BLACK FLAGGED AND DISQUALIFIED. THERE WILL BE A MARTIAL/FLAG PERSON AT THE CROSSING.
The start order will be determined based on your qualifying time. You will have one attempt for qualifying for this race.
After open laps, we will line up for a parade lap of the qualifying course. Qualifying will begin right after the parade lap.

Final start orders will be posted by the track entrance.

Please find Bill McGibbon, Marek Smid, JP Morin or Joel Demeyre on the evening of Friday August 19 until 8pm ONLY in the Greasy Clown Motorsports pit. Please message the Greasy Clown Motorsports team through Facebook if you need to tech on Saturday morning before your race – they will only be available between 8am and 9am. You must pass tech in order to enter the course.
*If you received a Conditional Pass (yellow tag), you will need to fix the outstanding tech issue and receive a green tag in order to participate in the next race.
If your conditional pass was due to a missing number plate/shark fin, you WILL be able to race without it but be aware, it is in your best interest in having a shark fin as this is the easiest number plate for lap counters to identify your vehicle – lack of number plate may result in miscount of laps.
Only tools/fuel/tires/etc. are allowed to be left at your pit. You MUST have your pit set up by 9:00 am race day.
If you are caught using outside help you will be assessed a 2 lap penalty. Maximum speed while in pit area is 5KM/H
There will be a flagman at the end of pit lane to safely guide you back on course. You must wait for them to give you the go ahead before proceeding on course. Failure to follow flagman’s signal will result in 1 lap penalty.
*Refer to map for pit area.
RECOVERY CREW/COURSE OFFICIALS
Recovery crew will be stationed throughout the course. Should you roll over, get stuck, break down, etc. they are there to help you (ie: roll you back on your wheels, pull you out, assist you with tools, change a tire, etc.). Recovery is NOT there to do your work or co-driver duties, they are there to assist if they can in a safe manner.
You are allowed to continue racing after they assist you. There is no penalty for accepting their help.
Green – go
Yellow – CAUTION. Slow down. No passing!
Red – stop until further instructed
Black – exit course for safety violation or other
White – final lap
Checkers – race is over. Safely exit the course and return to your campsite
Flag stations may be set up around the course with checkered and white flag only at the start/finish area.
If you are assessed a penalty prior to or during the race (outside help, etc.), your penalty laps will be added to your race length meaning, if you are running Stock or Modified and you are assessed a 1 lap penalty, you will now have to complete 6 laps instead of 5 like the rest of the field.
If upon review, it is determined you received an infraction after the race has completed and you receive a 1 lap penalty, the penalty will be taken off your total completed lap meaning if you are running Stock or Modified and you completed 5 laps prior to curfew, your completed laps will be scored as 4.
Absolutely no nerfing or bumping other vehicles.
If you are caught by a faster car, please pull over when safe to do so and allow them to pass.
If you break down do your best to get off course so others may get around you.
Do not intentionally block the course. Pull to the side to allow others to pass.
MOST IMPORTANTLY – we are racing to have fun! See rule #155!
There is no drivers meeting. All race information will be sent to drivers via email and found on this page.
Upon reviewing race details, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us here so we can address your questions.
CAR WASH INFO
DO NOT use the wash bays at the Free Flow Auto Spa! The traps/drainage become badly clogged with the clay/mud that comes off the race trucks.
FreeFlow will do their best to supply us with a water truck and fire hose that can be used to wash your race trucks down before you leave. This will be done in one central spot to not contaminate the parking area/pits with loose debris.
