SPECTATORS

Spectator wrist bands available the morning of the race – $20 each, kids 15 and under free when accompanied by an adult.

Spectators and those participating in the race will have different coloured bands. If you are caught on course or in a restricted area without the proper wrist band, you will be asked to leave the premises. It is for all attendees safety we ask spectators to stay in spectator safe areas. Please refer to map.

RACE FORMAT

Wheel to wheel racing with staggered start and corrected time. This means if you started 20 seconds after the first vehicle, you have until 60 minutes 20 seconds after initial flag drop to complete your last lap. Only full laps will be counted to your lap total.
Each driver must complete a specific number of laps designated for their class. Finish order will be determined by the time it takes to complete total laps. In the event, you don’t complete all laps of the race, the total number of laps you have completed at the time of curfew will determine your finish order.

Stock class will race to 6 laps with a 1 hour curfew. If competitors have not finished their 6 laps within the curfew, their last completed lap will be their final lap count to determine finishing position.

Unlimited and Modified will race together. Unlimited vehicles will enter the course first, followed by modified vehicles. Unlimited & Modified classes will race to 6 laps with a 2 hour curfew. Unlimited and modified class must complete the obstacle known as “Witch’s Tit” (refer to map) once during their 6 laps – if you fail to complete the “Witch’s Tit” obstacle, you will be assessed a penalty of 10 minutes added to your total time. There will be a course marshal/recovery at Witch’s Tit keeping track of racers completing the obstacle.  If competitors have not finished their 6 laps within the curfew, their last completed lap will be their final lap count to determine finishing position.

Registration: 8:00AM

Stock: 10:00AM – 11:00AM

Unlimited & Modified: 1:00PM – 3:00PM

Awards Ceremony: 5:00PM

Please line up in Competitor Staging Area 30 minutes before your scheduled start time – refer to map. Be prepared to parade to start area 15 minutes before your race – if you are not ready to parade to start area, you will start at the back of the field with corrected time being assessed from your original start position.
Racers will be sent out 1 at a time at equal intervals. When your car is staged at the start line watch for Eugene’s signals. Eugene will confirm the driver is ready with a thumbs up, followed by a 5 second hand countdown and arm drop – EUGENE’S ARM DROP MEANS YOU ARE LIVE TO RACE!

RACE COURSE/MAP

The course is a variety of rock, mud, trees and water involving a variety of natural elevation changes and obstacles.

START ORDER

The start will be determined by random draw on FaceBook Live – tune in Thursday July 14th to watch.

RACE COST/WAIVERS
$200 per vehicle class entry

Race participants (drivers/co-drivers), must be at least 16 years old and complete the digital waiver and present proof of waiver at check-in/registration. Participants under the age of 18 must complete a waiver along with their parent/guardian. Once waiver is completed and payment received, participants will receive participant wrist bands along with a driver package.

Please hand in exact race fees (change will NOT be available) in a sealed envelope with your names/race team/vehicle number on the envelope. Entry fee and waivers will be collected at ehMEDIA.ca Registration/Merchandise booth prior to going on course – refer to map for location of booth. Once Waivers/Payments are confirmed, you may proceed to line up for the race.

*PLEASE NOTE, WAIVERS ARE TO BE DONE ONLINE AND CONFIRMED AT THE REGISTRATION TABLE. PLEASE HAVE YOUR SMARTPHONE WITH YOU TO SHOW PROOF OF WAIVER.

*You must hand in payments and waivers before going on course!

*Tech must be completed before entering course!

If you do NOT hand in waivers and/or money prior to lining up for your race, you will be asked to leave the line up and be moved to the back of the line with your corrected time being assessed from your original start position.

TECH INSPECTION
Please find Bill McGibbon, Marek Smid, JP Morin or Joel Demeyre on the evening of Friday July 15 until 8pm ONLY in the Greasy Clown Motorsports pit. Please message the Greasy Clown Motorsports team through Facebook if you need to tech on Saturday morning before your race – they will only be available between 8am and 9am. You must pass tech in order to enter the course.

*If you received a Conditional Pass (yellow tag) previously – you will need to fix the outstanding tech issue and receive a green tag in order to participate in this race.

If your conditional pass was due to a missing number plate/shark fin, you WILL be able to race without it but be aware, it is in your best interest in having a shark fin as this is the easiest number plate for lap counters to identify your vehicle – lack of number plate may result in miscount of laps.

PITS

Pits to be determined. Refer to map.

Only tools/fuel/tires/etc. are allowed to be left at your pit – NO TENTS.

You MUST have your pit set up by 9:00am race day.

No pit crew members allowed. Only driver/co-driver/other participants are allowed to work on your race vehicle during the race. A participant is classified as anyone leaving the start line in a vehicle for that particular race or recovery crew.

If you are caught using using outside help, you will be assessed a 2 lap penalty.

Maximum speed while in pit area is 5KM/H

FLAGS
Green – go
Red – stop until further instructed
Black – exit course for safety violation or other

White – will be displayed on your last lap or when there is less than 15 minutes left until curfew
Checkers – race is over. Safely exit the course and return to your campsite. You may be pulled of course before curfew if the time keeper feels you don’t have enough time to complete another lap. This is to prevent extra breakage to your vehicle and potential extra recovery on course.
Flags will only be displayed at the start/finish area.

SPORTMANSHIP
Absolutely no nerfing or bumping other vehicles.
If you are caught by a faster car please pull over when safe to do so and allow them to pass.
If you break down do your best to get off course so others may get around you.

DRIVERS MEETING
There is no drivers meeting. All race information will be sent to drivers via email and found on this page.
